About My Retirement Model
My Retirement Model was created by Brian Cooper to make practical retirement planning assumptions easier to test, compare, and understand.
Why this exists
Retirement planning often depends on assumptions that are hard to see clearly: future earnings, Social Security claiming age, inflation, taxes, pensions, withdrawals, and spending changes over time. My Retirement Model is being built around a simple idea: make the assumptions visible so people can test realistic scenarios.
The first public tool is the free Social Security Estimator. It was built to help explore questions that come up in real planning, especially when future income may change, work may stop before age 62, or a spouse may need to understand Social Security credit eligibility.

Privacy-first direction
The Social Security Estimator is designed to run locally in your browser. It does not require an SSA.gov login, does not ask for a Social Security number, and lets users keep scenario files under their own control.
Independence
My Retirement Model is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Social Security Administration or any government agency.
The tools and information on this site are for education and planning only. They are not financial, tax, legal, investment, insurance, or Social Security advice.
